What is Aquaponics?
Aquaponics is a food production system that couples raising fish (aquaculture) with hydroponics (cultivating plants in water) where the fish supply nutrient rich water for the plants and the plants clean the water for the fish.
Aquaponics is a complete ecosystem that, due to the sensitive nature of fish, demands a 100% organic growing practice.
Our fish of choice: Koi
We chose Koi due to their hardiness and beauty. They can sustain a wide variety of temperatures and are a beautiful addition to a backyard pond.
